About

Lance Victor Moore is a San Francisco high fashion designer who treats the body as sculpture first and fashion second. The self-taught son of a painter, he has been making masks since 2016, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that reveal rather than hide the face. His designs, best described as Sci-Fae, engineer timeless metal, crystal and bone into ethereal high fashion that flirts with the impossible.

He reached a global audience when Lady Gaga wore his horned mask and silver crown at the 2020 MTV VMAs, and again in her "911" video. Collaborating with Iris van Herpen on "Meta Morphism" made him the only San Francisco designer to show at Paris Couture Week in over 25 years, and he has since created for Grimes and many other A-listers.

His work is held in the permanent collection of Swarovski Kristallwelten in Austria, has been displayed at Kensington Palace, and has appeared in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Billboard and Paper Magazine. Most recently, the atelier began beauty collaborations with Ffern.
